New Balance Athletic Shoes Inc. purchased 145 Newton St. in Brighton, MA, for $9.18 million, approximately $84.37 per square foot for the 108,810-square-foot building. Situated on over seven acres, this industrial building offers four loading docks with levelators, an overhead crane, drive-ins, heavy power, and 18-foot to 20-foot ceiling heights. It provides a cafeteria and locker room for its new tenant, as well as the convenience of proximity to the MBTA Newton line. Gian Starita and Wayne Spiegel of NAI Hunneman Commercial Company represented New Balance Athletic Shoes Inc. Clifford Hurley of CRESA Partners represented the landlord, High Voltage Engineering Corp.
