Des Moines, Iowa-based Principal Life Insurance Co. purchased the 191,475-square-foot industrial property located at 800 Biermann Court in Mount Prospect, IL. The property was on the market for $16.7 million. The office/warehouse facility, located within the Kensington Business Center, features 20’ clear ceilings, exclusive docking from the south and east elevations, and an exceptional parking ratio of 3 cars per 1000 square feet. Formerly a Mitsubishi facility, the facility also offers sodium vapor lights. Conveniently located near O’Hare International Airport and I-294, the building is 100% leased to Authentic Brands and Caremark. Insignia/ESG represented the seller of the property, an affiliate of Amerimar Enterprises Inc. and Angelo Gordon & Co. Jim Postweiler and Dan Smolensky from Insignia/ESG’s Chicago office were the agents who represented the seller in the transaction.
