Johnson Controls Charges-Up Battery Group

Battery Division of Johnson Controls Leases 51,200 Square Feet

Johnson Controls Battery Group Inc. signed a direct lease for 51,200 square feet of industrial warehouse space at The Fowler Distribution Center, 11316 N 46th St., in Tampa. The battery division of Johnson Controls had been a sublease tenant in the building prior to this. The Milwaukee-based company produces automotive products ranging from seats to electronics to batteries. The Fowler Distribution facility is a 383,600-square-foot building in the Tampa Industrial Park. The facility features 33 dock doors, a clear height of 25 feet 9 inches and is served by the CSX rail. Mike Davis of Cushman & Wakefield represented the owner Carlyle/FR Investors LLC. Johnson Control represented itself.
