The adoption of flexible and hybrid working patterns has been accelerated not only by the economic uncertainty created by the past 12 months, but the realisation for many that not all work has to be done from the office. However, the office’s potential to facilitate human connection, innovation, mental wellbeing and its ability to enable company culture to thrive, will mean it remains an integral part of most workplace strategies even if the majority of workers are no longer in the same location five days a week.
