Perkins Paper, the Taunton, MA-based distributor of paper and plastic kitchenware and specialty food items is set to open its first distribution center outside of New England. The deal was for 34,145 square feet at the Red Bird Industrial facility at 5050 Investment Drive in Dallas. Perkins will begin three years of occupancy on the first of October. Perkins made the move west to service its new client, the Texas-based natural and organic food specialists, Whole Foods Market. The new distribution center was designed to service stores from Dallas-Fort Worth to Houston.
