Andrx Corp., a specialty pharmaceutical company, inked a 10-year, 357,000-square-foot lease with Columbus based developer, Pizzuti Companies. Andrx will open its new distribution center at 6500 Adelaide Court in Groveport, OH, at the Rickenbacker Air Park. In addition to the building, Andrx Pharmaceuticals will also benefit from the Pizzuti Companies' alliance partnership with Airborne Logistics Services. This solution leverages the proximity to the Airborne hub in Wilmington, OH, in order to provide late night cutoffs, and preferred transportation pricing. Pizzuti has several industrial parks in southern Columbus in this alliance partnership, which offers similar benefits. The Florida-based Andrx is a company engaged in the formulation and commercialization of oral controlled-release generic and brand pharmaceuticals utilizing its proprietary drug delivery technologies. Edward J.M. Schreyer of CB Richard Ellis represented the tenant. Joel Pizzuti and Bill Baumgardner represented Pizzuti in-house.
