Buck Consultants, a subsidiary of Mellon Financial Corp. and a global leader in human resources consulting, specializing in the strategy, process, systems, and finance of human resources, signed an 8-year deal and will occupy the space in December 2002. Originally constructed in 1973, First Market Tower is a 39-story, 1.083 million-square-foot, Class-A office building located in San Francisco's South Financial District. J.C. Pelusi of Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA represented the tenant. Kenneth Church and Richard Robinson of Cushman & Wakefield of California in San Francisco represented the landlord, Knickerbocker Properties Inc. XXXIII.
