Coast Sign Inc. expanded its business by purchasing the new building at 1500 Embassy in Anaheim, CA. The 72,000-square-foot-industrial building will be occupied by its new owner this Labor Day. The concrete tilt-up sold for $5.292 million or $73.50 per square foot. Richard Williams, vice president of Business Development for Coast Signs, notes of the acquisition, "This building has better loading facilities and has been CAD wired throughout. Being under one roof is another benefit." Coast Sign's previous location, 1345 Allec, consisted of two adjoining buildings separated by a common wall. The 30-year-old company currently employees over 200, and is a national manufacturer and installer of signs throughout the U.S. The company designs and manufactures electric signs for American Suzuki, Hollywood Video, and Carl’s Jr., to name a few; its most recent opportunity is the engineering and design assistance of ATM surrounds for the East Coast-based, Wachovia Banks. John Maresca of Bryan Industrial Properties represented Coast Signs. Robert Socci and Brian Corrigan of Voit Commercial Brokerage represented the seller, American National Properties in the owner/user transaction.
