Jackson Square Shopping Center Sells

GMS Realty Purchases Neigborhood Shopping Center

GMS Realty LLC acquired the Jackson Square Shopping Center located at 277 West Jackson St. in Hayward, CA from NSHE Tomahawk LLC for an undisclosed price. Built in 1972, the neighborhood shopping center consists of two single-story buildings totaling 112,125 square feet on 6.8 acres and was 98% leased at the time of the sale. Safeway and Long's Drug Store are the two anchor tenants in the center. GMS Realty LLC is a privately held commercial real estate investment firm that currently manages and leases more then 5.5 million square feet of retail shopping centers throughout the West. Dan Wald of BT Commercial Real Estate-NAI in San Francisco represented the buyer and the seller in the transaction. By: Carolyn Mitchell & Dan Martinez
