The new landlord has renamed the building Centerpark Plaza. Vacant at the time of sale, the building was formerly owned by JC Penney Properties Inc., which used the building as its West Coast Regional headquarters. The building features four elevators, a spectacular marble lobby, and is adjacent to many shops and restaurants. Alexander Nalle and Gary Stache of CB Richard Ellis represented JC Penney Properties as well as the buyer, Sunny Hills, which took title under the name 6131 Orangethorpe LLC.
