First Republic Bank Moves East

HQ To Open At 1230 Avenue Of The Americas

First Republic Bank is opening its East Coast headquarters at 1230 Avenue of the Americas. The San Francisco-based provider of full service private banking, investment management, and trust services signed a 15-year lease for 51,477 square feet of office space on the second floor of the building. The company also leased 4,251 square feet of retail space for a branch location and two prime ATM locations in the subway concourse and on the building’s lower arcade level at 30 Rockefeller Center. The building is part of the world famous Rockefeller Center and is home to corporate giants Simon & Schuster and USA Cable. Frank Doyle and Alex Gilbert represented First Republic Bank. Tishman Speyer Properties represented the owner, RCPI Landmark Properties.
