KOBO Lands In South Plainfield

234 St. Nicholas Sells For $1.75 Million

KOBO Products acquired 234 St. Nicholas Ave. in South Plainfield, NJ from Imperia Foods. The purchase price was $1.75 million, approximately $47 per square foot. Approved by the Food & Drug Administration, this 37,000-square-foot warehouse includes 4,900 square feet of refrigerated space, 12,600 square feet of air-conditioned space featuring three compressors and 7,700 square feet of office. KOBO Products is a manufacturer of technology-based raw materials used in a range products that include treated pigments and zinc oxides for sun care products. Rob Bowman and Jonathan Glick of Sheldon Gross Realty Inc. represented both parties in this transaction.
