Walton Street Capital Hires Acquisition Specialist

Walton Street Capital, LLC, a Chicago-based private equity real estate company, hired acquisition specialist David A. Roth, 35. In his new position, Roth plays a key role in the company's equity investment and distressed debt strategies. He reports to Principal Jeffrey S. Quicksilver, who oversees acquisition activities. Roth joins Walton Street Capital with over 10 years of principal investment experience. Most recently, Roth was with Security Capital Group, where he served as Senior Vice President with responsibility for more than $2 billion of investment, including property acquisitions and equity stakes in real estate operating companies. Prior to joining Security Capital, Roth served as an attorney at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Before that, he founded Slayton Hill Company, a real estate investment firm that owned and managed multifamily properties. Roth has a JD from New York University and a BA from Dartmouth College.
