Transwestern Commercial Services was awarded the leasing and property management responsibilities for the Plaza at Las Colinas by GE Capital Real Estate, the building's owner since 1998. This 401,000 square-foot Class-A office building, located in the Las Colinas submarket of Irving, Texas, is being publicized as the largest contiguous block of Class-A space now standing empty in North Texas. "We look forward to using our expertise in challenging markets to successfully reposition and re-tenant this valuable asset," said Jack Eimer, president of Transwestern's Central region. The Chicago-based firm has chosen its most senior team to take on this latest challenge. Kim Vincent Butler, executive vice president of office services, and Blair Oden, senior vice president of office services, will handle the leasing for the project. Mike Ogden senior vice president of management services will oversee the property management functions.
