Mark Pearson, co-founder and principal of CRESA Partners’ local San Jose and Palo Alto offices, was recognized as one of the nation’s hottest brokers, as reported in CPN, a national commercial real estate publication. Pearson, a build-to-suit expert who focuses on the biotech market in Silicon Valley and the Bay Area, completed 30 deals in 2001, totaling more than 2.2 million square feet and valued at about $1.5 billion. Highlights of his transactions include: 280,200 square feet for Tularik in South San Francisco, 220,000 square feet for Abgenix in Fremont, and 156,000 square feet for Cell Genesys in South San Francisco.
