Corinthian Colleges to Open NE Austin Campus

Santa Ana, CA-based Corinthian Colleges, Inc., a post-secondary education company, recently leased 20,000 square feet at 9100 E Highway 290 in Northeast Austin. The McShane Corporation owns the 51,339-square-foot building, which was completed in May 2001. Corinthian's space will be used as a National Institute of Technology (NIT) campus, joining the three NIT campuses in Houston and the one in San Antonio. The new campus is slated to open during the company's second fiscal quarter of 2003, ending December 31, 2002. This fifth Texas location will offer a broad range of allied healthcare and technology programs. Charlie Hill and Mike Tipps of Colliers International represented the landlord, and Jon Aleshire of The Staubach Company represented Corinthian.
