Denver Investment Firm Acquires 384-Unit Apartment Complex for $40.3 Mil.

Baron Properties, a Denver-based private investment firm, acquired the new 384-unit Red Hawk Ranch apartment complex in Thornton, CO. The purchase price was $40.3 million, or $104,948 per unit. At 12150 Washington Center Parkway, this luxury apartment complex completed construction just last year. The 15-building complex has a unit mix of 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom floor plans, ranging from 675 to 1,156 square feet. Monthly rents run from $850 to $1,250. Building amenities include a 25-meter lap pool, tennis court, basketball court, and volleyball court. There is also a resort-style clubhouse that includes a game room, fitness center, movie theater, business center, and conference room. Concierge services are also available to tenants. Dan Woodword and David Potarf of Marcus & Millichap represented Baron Properties and the owner/developer, Carmel Construction.
