Another Crate & Barrel In The City

Crate and Barrel leased 40,217 square feet of space at 611 Broadway. The lease will establish Crate and Barrel's second location in New York City. Its other Manhattan store is located at Madison Avenue and 59th Street. Crate and Barrel, which operates 108 stores in 22 markets nationwide, plans to open this large home-furnishings store in late 2002. The store will occupy part of the first floor, the entire second floor and portions of the third floor of the building. The Angelika Film Center a well-known arts multiplex theater occupies the building’s basement and shares the first floor with Crate and Barrel.
