Orange County Investor Purchases Plaza Sorrento for $18 Million

Donahue Schriber Realty Group LP acquired the Plaza Sorrento Shopping Center for $18.025 million. The property is at 6755 Mira Mesa Blvd. in San Diego CA. The buyer paid approximately $184 per square foot for the 97,916-square-foot retail and office center. At the time of the sale, the property was 96% leased and includes tenants such as Bally's Total Fitness, Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken, as well as several office users. This marks another retail acquisition for the Orange County investor group here in San Diego. The company also owns Poinsettia Village in Carlsbad and Del Mar Highlands Town Center, the 252,270 square-foot retail center in Del Mar Heights. Frank Kosi, from the Irvine office of Sperry Van Ness, represented the buyer. Phil Wise and Richard Lebert of Colliers International represented the seller, Plaza Sorrento LLC.
