Oh Wilbur!

John H. Wilbur & Christine A. Klein, private investors from San Diego, purchased four industrial/R&D buildings in the San Diego area. The buildings are located at 6960 Flanders Ave., 2230 Oakridge Way, 2455 Ash St., and 2465 Ash St. The purchase took place in the form of two transactions. The first transaction was for the 33,144-square-foot property at 6960 Flanders Ave. in the Sorrento Mesa area. It was purchased for $3.7 million, approximately $112 per square foot. The second transaction included the remaining three properties located in Vista. Comprising a total rentable area of 134,121 square feet, the 3 buildings were purchased for about $8.4 million, or $62 per square foot. Don Mitchell of CB Richard Ellis represented the buyer. Stan Tomer, also of CB Richard Ellis, represented the seller, Bedford Property Investors Inc.
