Carlsbad Technology, Inc. (CTI) leased the 20,398 square-foot industrial building located at 5923 Farnsworth Ct. in Carlsbad, CA. The five-year deal was inked at approximately $0.80 per-square-foot, for a total consideration of $975,000. The company currently owns and occupies the 26,655 square-foot building at 5923 Balfour Ct., also in Carlsbad. The new building offer the pharmaceutical company much needed expansion space. CTI, a subsidiary of Yung Shin Pharmaceutical Industrial Co., focuses on the manufacturing and marketing of prescription and over-the-counter drugs. Jim Benson, of Coldwell Banker Commercial North County Properties, represented both the lessee and lessor, Maureen Olson, in the transaction.
