Carrier Corp., a world leader in the manufacture and sale of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and HVAC systems, leased 16,000 square feet at 100 Benton St. in Stratford, CT. The company, a division of United Technologies, will use the space for warehousing and distributing air conditioners and high-end HVAC products. The tenant also has an option to lease the remaining 16,000 square feet of the building within the next 90 days. "It's good to have a Fortune 500 company in the building. It's a tribute to the great location of the building," said George Shawah Jr. of Baldwin Pearson & Co. Shawah represented the owner, Trefz Corporation, while Chris Pulie of United Systems Integrators represented the tenant.
