BROOMFIELD, Colorado—The National Football League has a noticeable effect on hotels in the U.S. markets that the 32 pro football teams call home.
First, STR—parent company of Hotel News Now—introduced the “NFL Impact” series by analyzing the effect of NFL home games on a market depending on opponent, seasonality and the day of the week the game is played. In part two, STR considered the room revenue impact of each NFL team on its home market. Finally, in part three, analysts studied the average impact per game for each week of the 2015 NFL season.
