Nicor Energy LLC purchased 1947 Bethany Road, a 2-story, Class A, 52,500-square-foot office building in Sycamore, IL. Monsanto Corp. had previously used the building as its corporate headquarters. The office building consists of many state-of-the-art upgrades, 10 acres available for additional development, a 500 KVA transformer with 2,000 amp service and sub panels, and a computer room with a Liebert UP 50 KVA system and fiber optics. In close proximity of the four-way interchange at I-88 and Peace Road, 55 miles west of Chicago, the immediate area boasts an excellent labor force. Steve Milner and Ruth Ann Trunda of Milner & Associates and Joyce Slone of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller. Ellen Steinbrecher of Insignia represented the buyer.
