WDS Dublin LLC, an affiliate of Wilcox Development Services in Dallas, sold the new Sybase Inc. headquarters complex in Dublin, CA, to ACRE Dublin LLC, of New York City for $100 million, or about $238.10 per square foot. The price is bound to skew market statistics for the East Bay, if not San Francisco Bay Area as a whole. Wilcox Development broke ground on the 2-building, 1 acre campus for software giant Sybase just 18 months ago. Sybase relocated its worldwide corporate headquarters from Emeryville, CA, to 5000-20 Hacienda Drive in Dublin, CA. The company's 2-building, 6-story, Class A, build-to-suit, office complex was completed in January of this year. Sybase's new corporate headquarters offers employees and customers alike an enhanced work environment with state-of-the-art amenities. Sybase worked closely with the City of Dublin, Wilcox Development Services of Dallas, TX, RMW architecture and Interiors, and DPR Construction, Inc. of San Francisco to ensure that the development, design and construction of the new campus was completed on time. Both sides of the transaction were represented by undisclosed brokers. By: Julie Rodgers & Dan Martinez
