New Tenants, New Face for Rolando Plaza

BRE Commercial/NAI has negotiated lease agreements for more than 34,000 square feet in the Rolando Plaza Shopping Center located at 6411-6535 University Ave, San Diego. The new tenants will fill anchor space formerly occupied by Albertson's and Cal Stores. Save-A-Lot Foods, a discount grocery store, signed a 10-year, $2.1 million lease for 15,000 square feet. The Salvation Army signed a 5-year, $1 million lease for 12,000 square feet. Gambro Healthcare Inc., an international healthcare group headquartered in Sweden, executed a 10-year, $1.6 million lease for 7,040 square feet in the former Cal Stores building. Gambro will use the space for an outpatient renal dialysis clinic and medical offices. Chris Rink of BRE Commercial/NAI represented the landlord, Voit Rolando Partners LLC, in all the transactions. Rink also negotiated on behalf of Save-A-Lot. Fred Ernst of the Ernst Co. represented The Salvation Army. Bob Rush of U.S. Realty Group represented Gambro Healthcare.
