Campus Pointe Sells for $10.25 Million

LA LLC Buys Retail Center

YFP Campus Pointe LLC has purchased the Campus Pointe retail center for $10.25 million. The property is located at 6235 and 6265 El Cajon Blvd. in San Diego. Office Depot occupies one of the buildings, with a total square footage of 27,610 square feet. Sav-On Drug Store is in the other building, and its total square footage is 15,251 square feet. Both buildings completed construction is late 2000, and both tenants executed 15+ year leases that commenced upon completion. The property also includes a 90,000-square-foot subterranean self-storage facility with construction scheduled to be completed in late 2002. A lease is also in place for the facility, commencing on Jan. 1, 2003. The purchase is an investment move by the LLC and represents another acquisition of Southern California retail property for the group. Joshua Levy and Martin Cohan of the Sherman Oaks office of Grubb & Ellis represented the buyer. Larry Bogle of Retail Properties Group Inc. in La Jolla represented the seller, Keystone Land Partners LLC.
