Stanley Gerlach and Kevin O'Connor of CB Richard Ellis have completed two deals representing the California State Teachers Retirement System (CalSTRS) on Century Park East in Los Angeles. In the first transaction, Korn/Ferry International has renewed its lease of 51,000 square feet of office space at 1800 Century Park East. The executive search firm will remain for an additional 3 years after signing a deal valued at approximately $5.7 million. Robert Chavez, Christina Bellinghausen and David Kutzer of The Staubach Co. represented the tenant. In the second deal, Fox Sports Net signed a 5-year lease for 13,444 square feet of office space on the 4th floor at 1840 Century Park East. The broadcasting giant needed to expand beyond the 127,000 square feet that it already occupies in Century City, including its current location at 10000 Santa Monica Blvd. Roy Longman of CRESA Partners represented Fox. Gerlach, of CB Richard Ellis's LA office, and O'Connor, with CB Richard Ellis Investors of Los Angeles, collaborated on both deals to represent the landlord, CalSTRS.
