Medical Device Company Moves to Telecom Business Center

One of San Diego's fastest growing medical device companies, MD3 Inc., has agreed to lease 12,799 square feet of flex space in the Telecom Business Center located at 5751 Copley Drive in San Diego. The 3-year deal is valued at approximately $623,000, or $1.35 per square foot. As MD3 leaves the Scripps Miramar Business Park, the company will be more than doubling its space at the Copley location. David Marino of Irving Hughes described MD3 as "medical devices company that focusing on stents, [devices that provide support for tubular structures or for body cavities during skin grafting]. The company was founded in 1997, and has 35 employees. The initial investors and board members collectively are founders/CEO's of multiple leading medical companies such as Sepracor, Nellcor Puritan Bennet, and Critikon." The lease to MD3 makes Telecom Center fully leased. Matthew Belshin, Rob Jones and Scott Dickson of SENTRE Partners represented the landlord, FSP Telecom Business Center. Marino represented MD3.
