Invesco has sold its remaining stake in NewRiver REIT, the mall and retail parks owner with £1.3bn of retail assets across the UK, just weeks after the departure of Mark Barnett, a disciple of controversial fund manager Neil Woodford who sold swathes of shares in NewRiver to Invesco last year.
