Building Acquired as Part of Comdisco's Bankruptcy

SunGard Recovery Services LP, a division of SunGard, purchased the flex building located at 5810 West Beverly Lane in Glendale, AZ. The 25,000-square-foot, single-tenant building was purchased for $2.2 million, or $88 per square foot. The building purchase was part of SunGard's $825 million cash acquisition of Comdisco Inc. through the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. SunGard acquired the business assets, client services, and products of Comdisco's Availability Solutions business for the cash and an additional $25 million of working capital. SunGard Recovery Services provides business continuity services including high-availability infrastructure/electronic vaulting services, hot-and-cold sites, recovery network services and work group recovery. There were no brokers involved in the transaction.
