First Union Sells Apartment Communities

Insignia/ESG Handles Sell of 2 Residential Complexes

First Union Corp. recently sold two apartment communities in the Atlanta area. Cedar Points Apartments, a 202-unit property, sold to Cedar Partners LLC for $1.35 million, and Regency Club Apartments, a 136-unit property, was acquired by Regency Partners LLC for $1.775 million. Cedar Point Apartments, which consist of 31, 1- and 2-story residential buildings, is located at 135 Ignico Drive in Warner Robins, GA. Regency Club Apartments, with 21, 2-story buildings is located at 2000 Tompkins Ave. in Albany, GA. John Kleinberg and Kevin Markwordt of Insignia/ESG represented First Union in both transactions.
