Weber Distribution Warehouses Leases Entire 80K-SF Bldg

Weber Distribution Warehouses, a third-party logistics provider, has leased the entire 80,080-square-foot industrial building at 1934 Fairway Drive in San Leandro, CA. The lease has a reported value of approximately $2.4 million. The Fairway Business Center comes complete with 5,040 square feet of executive office area, 14 dock-high loading doors equipped with levelers, 4 drive-in loading docks, heavy power, skylights, sprinklered and a large yard/truck staging area. Founded by the Weber family in 1924, Weber Distribution handles shipping to regional and nationwide destinations for customers in chemical, electronic, grocery and consumer industries. Weber Distribution, which operates about 3 million sq. ft. of warehouse space, also provides order assembly, just-in-time inventory management, less-than-truckload delivery, and other services. The company operates primarily in the western US, but is expanding eastward into New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia. John McManus with Cushman & Wakefield of California in Oakland and David Hasbrouck with Cushman & Wakefield in Los Angeles represented Weber Distribution Warehouses in the lease transaction. Greig Lagomarsino and Michael Barry with Colliers International in Oakland represented the landlord, AMB Property Corp.
