Construction begins on Mt. Zion Promenade, a $4.3 million development in the south metro city, located on Mount Zion Road and Highway 54 in Morrow, GA. This single-story, 28,850-square-foot retail center will front Mount Zion Road and include a mix of restaurants, shops and services. Bill Dyer and Ronald Chanin, partners at Riverwood Properties LLC, are handling the leasing for the property. The expected completion date for the site is May 2002. Mt. Zion Promenade will be built on the front 3 acres of a 5.31-acre parcel owned by Riverwood. It is adjacent to Toys-R-Us, Costco and Tucker Federal Bank, and just north of Home Depot, Publix, and Target.
