BAE Systems preleased 134,000 square feet, the entire Reston Commons building at 11485 Sunset Hills Road in Reston, VA. The company leased the 6-story office building, which will finish construction this March, for a 10-year term. BAE Systems (formerly British Aerospace) is one of Europe's largest defense contractors. BAE makes avionics, military aircraft, communications, radar, ships, space systems, and electronics. Gene Sachs, Sandra Weiss, and Crista Leight of CRESA Partners/Washington DC represented the tenant. John Henschel and Douglas Fleit of Cushman & Wakefield of Virginia Inc. represented the landlord, Opus East LLC.
