The San Francisco office of Insignia/ESG Inc., the international full service commercial real estate services firm, expanded to a new downtown San Francisco location at Four Embarcadero Center, Suite 3330, on January 1. The announcement was made by Robert K. Shibuya, the Insignia/ESG executive vice president who since 1998 has guided the New York-based firm's rapid brokerage expansion in the Western United States. Insignia/ESG's comprehensive brokerage and consulting practice in San Francisco is led by a high profile team of three senior brokers --- David Churton, Don Shaver and Jon Wittemyer --- who bring more than 50 years and 10 million square feet of transactional experience representing both tenants and landlords. Backing this front line is a 20-professional office providing tenant representation, landlord agency, investment sales, property management, hotel services and corporate services for clients across the Bay Area. The office houses representatives of the Capital Advisor's Group, Insignia/ESG's investment sales & financing unit; and the property services division, led by Tim Ballas, managing Insignia’s 22 million square-foot Northern California portfolio. Corporate Services specialist Mike Huaco also recently joined Insignia/ESG in San Francisco. "The expansion of our San Francisco office represents the latest action in our strategic plan to establish a preeminent full service capability in all Tier One markets on the West Coast," said Shibuya. "As a major international economic center, we are extremely bullish about San Francisco’s future."
