Wonderware Corp, a unit of the Invensys Software Systems division of British-based Invensys, has executed an expansion of an additional 10,000 square feet at the Allred Corporate Center in Lake Forest, CA. The expansion increases Wonderware's total leasehold to 116,000 square feet in three buildings. The breakout is as follows: 60,720 square feet at 26541 Rancho Parkway, 46,080 square feet at 26541 Rancho, and 10,000 square feet at 26521 Rancho. Wonderware has signed a 10-year lease that has been valued in excess of $20 million. "The project has been unusually compressed to accommodate the need to move quickly, especially in light of the expansion, but it remains on target for the February move date," said Meg Farrell, Wonderware's director of real estate. "Wonderware is excited about its partnership with Douglas Allred Co. and Lake Forest. Allred's project management team and the building department of the city have been very flexible and given us tremendous assistance as the project has progressed." Founded in 1987, Irvine-based Wonderware's mission is to provide integrated software suites that drive the customer's strategic, planning and operational decision-making based on real-time plant floor information. Bret Hardy of Colliers Seeley and Mark McAdams of Cushman & Wakefield represented Wonderware. Jeff Diltz, John Griffin and Trent Walker of Voit Commercial Brokerage represented the landlord, San Diego-based Douglas Allred Co.
