The Diriyah Gate Development Authority has signed 16 hotel management agreements for its mega Saudi Arabian project Diriyah to add to the 16 already announced, with the first hotel to open later this year. The brands announced in the second phase of signings include Anatara; The Chedi; Faena; GHM; Hyatt Place; The Langham; Marriott Edition; 1 Hotels; Radisson Red; Taj Hotels, Treehouse, and Waldorf Astoria.
Iceland Parliament Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton
Hilton has opened the 163-room Iceland Parliament Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton, in Iceland’s capital Reykjavik and immediately adjacent to the country’s Parliament building, known as the Alþingishúsið.

Hilton has announced the signing of the 108-room Motto by Hilton Rotterdam, the European debut of the Motto by Hilton brand. No exact opening date was announced.

Radisson Hotel Group opened the 110-room Radisson Blu Grand Hotel & Spa, Malo-les-Bains, a French coastal town 10 miles southeast of the Belgium border, and the 200-room Radisson Blu Mosi-oa-Tunya Livingstone Resort on the banks of the Zambezi River in Zambia.
Hotel Flüela
Hyatt Hotels Corp. has signed a franchise agreement with Davos Luxury Properties AG for the 50-room Hotel Flüela that will open in the Switzerland town of Davos, famous for its annual World Economic Forum conference, later this year as part of the firm’s soft brand Unbound Collection.
Carlton Cannes, a Regent Hotel
Katara Hospitality, the owner and developer of the newly renamed, 332-room Carlton Cannes, a Regent Hotel, has selected IHG Hotels & Resorts to manage the hotel, which it will begin this spring.
