Cushman adds infrastructure adviser; CBRE promotes Pittsburgh property manager; JLL adds five to Chicago industrial team

Justin Markley has joined Cushman & Wakefield as an executive director at the firm’s Valuation & Advisory's infrastructure and energy practice in Jacksonville, Florida. He will work alongside Nick Chop and Cushman’s broader infrastructure team to support the valuation needs of transportation, utility and other large scale infrastructure projects, the firm said

Markley joined the real estate services firm with over 18 years of experience in commercial real estate valuation and a specialization in eminent domain and right-of-way assignments. He has served as an expert witness and is an appraiser of record for multiple state transportation agencies throughout the Southeast.

CBRE promoted Eve Bursic to property management market leader for the brokerage’s Pittsburgh office. She oversees 75 professionals managing 13.4 million square feet of office, industrial and retail properties from over 30 clients, the firm said.

Bursic, who brings over 30 years of property management experience to the role, succeeded Joe Petak, who retired after over 44 years in the commercial real estate industry.

JLL added a five-person industrial team to its Chicago O’Hare office as Adam Haefner joined as managing director; Marty Mikaitis and Zeke Rowan as executive vice presidents; Nick Fazio as a vice president; and Anne McGrath as a sales coordinator. Haefner brings over 26 years of experience, and his team specializes in properties across the Interstate 55, Interstate 80 and Northwest Indiana markets, JLL said. The team most recently worked at Avison Young.

Seattle’s Clise Properties appointed Hans von Trotha to senior vice president of asset management and leasing, a newly created position. Von Trotha joined Clise from Unico Properties. In his new role, the 20-year veteran will focus on increasing asset value and profitability, developing asset strategies, oversee leasing, approving budgets and capital projects and conducting financial analysis, the company said. He brings over 20 years of experience to the role.

Edward Neblett joined Lincoln Property Co. as a senior vice president of acquisitions. Based in Atlanta, he is responsible for sourcing and executing investment opportunities across Alabama and Georgia, including value-add and opportunistic acquisitions, joint ventures and deployments from Lincoln Logistics Fund II, with an immediate focus on the industrial sector, the company said. The fund is targeting $1 billion in total commitments.

Neblett, who joined Lincoln from Crestlight Capital, has worked on the acquisitions of approximately $500 million of industrial and commercial assets throughout his career.

Baltimore’s Continental Realty Corp. promoted Ryan Horka to vice president and general counsel — real estate after he originally joined the real estate investment and management company in 2022. In his new role, Horka will lead the legal function supporting the firms’ real estate operating platform, as well as real estate operations and portfolio activities, Continental Realty said.

Francisco Nacorda joined Matthews as a senior vice president in the firm's Fort Lauderdale, Florida, office. His addition strengthens the firm’s hospitality platform throughout Central and South Florida, Matthews said. Having joined the firm from Mag Mile Capital, Nacorda brings nearly 25 years of experience to the role; he has closed over $2.5 billion in hospitality and commercial real estate transactions during his career.
