Jeff Borman
Borman has been appointed as global head of sales, revenue and distribution at Virgin Hotels Collection. Most recently, Borman served as vice president of revenue optimization at Ashford Inc., where he oversaw commercial strategies for Ashford Hospitality Trust and Braemar Collection.
Gonzalo Bustamante
Bustamante has been appointed as senior vice president of design at Starwood Hotels. He previously held the position of executive vice president of design and development at MGM Resorts International, where he oversaw multibillion-dollar projects across multiple continents, including the landmark $10 billion MGM Japan project in Osaka.
Jason Druso
Druso has rejoined White Lodging as regional vice president. Druso worked for White Lodging from 2015 until early 2025. His most recent role at White Lodging was vice president of food and beverage, and prior to that, vice president of restaurants.
Evan Morick
Morick has been appointed as senior vice president of development at PM Hotel Group. Most recently, he advised Douglas Development Corporation, where he oversaw asset management for a multi-hotel portfolio and supported the company’s hotel investment strategies.
Tom Roman
Roman has been appointed as vice president of food and beverage at Charlestowne Hotels. Most recently, he led food and beverage operations for Life House/Lark Hospitality, guiding a diverse portfolio of hotels spanning 10 states and Mexico.
General managers
Dane Gorup
Gorup has been appointed as general manager of the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort in Santa Barbara, California. Most recently, he served as resort manager at the historic Hotel del Coronado. Prior to that, he spent over two decades at Hilton Anaheim, a property where he held leadership roles that included assistant food and beverage manager, director of catering, and director of food and beverage.
Jorge Madrigal
Madrigal has been appointed as general manager at the Hilton Cabana Miami Beach Resort in Miami. He most recently joined the Hilton brand in 2017 as complex general manager at Embassy Suites by Hilton Deerfield Beach Resort & Spa and Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale 17th Street.
Gary Obligacion
Obligacion has been appointed as general manager at El Encanto in Santa Barbara, California. He has since held senior leadership roles across luxury hospitality, including The Alinea Group in Chicago, where he helped guide the restaurant to recognition on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list and the James Beard Foundation Award for Outstanding Restaurant.
Helen Watson
Watson has been appointed as general manager at Anna & Bel in Fishtown, Pennsylvania. Most recently, Watson served as general manager of The Adelphi Hotel in Saratoga Springs, New York, a Forbes Recommended and Michelin One Key boutique property, where she oversaw both daily operations and long-term strategic expansion.
Sales and marketing
Mariana Hauri
Hauri has been appointed as senior sales manager of groups at Thompson Miami Beach in Miami Beach, Florida. Most recently, she served as sales manager for EAST Miami, where she spearheaded group and corporate sales for the 352-key luxury property in the heart of Brickell.
Food and beverage
Allan Alquisalas Jr.
Alquisalas has been appointed as chef de cuisine at Ka'ana Kitchen at the Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort in Wailea, Hawaii. He most recently served as banquet chef at Hyatt Regency Waikiki and previously held leadership positions at Grand Hyatt Kauai and Koloa Landing Resort, where he was part of the property’s opening culinary team.
Kimberly Capehart
Capehart has been appointed as food and beverage general manager at Anna & Bel in Fishtown, Pennsylvania. Capehart’s career is rooted in Philadelphia’s dynamic hospitality scene, where she most recently served as general manager at Pizzeria Beddia, helping guide the restaurant through national acclaim and recognition from Time and Esquire.
Austin Ishibashi
Ishibashi has been appointed as executive chef of the M Social Hotel New York Downtown in New York City. Ishibashi has a refined culinary background shaped by his experience in acclaimed restaurants including Uchi Dallas, Benoit New York and Michelin-starred Claro in Brooklyn.
Chance Savell
Savell has been promoted to executive sous chef of the Ka'ana Kitchen at the Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort in Wailea, Hawaii. Savell, who has been with Andaz Maui since the resort’s opening in 2013, transitions into his new role as executive sous chef after six years leading Ka’ana Kitchen as chef de cuisine.
George Seremetis
Seremetis has been appointed as director of food and beverage at the M Social Hotel New York Downtown in New York City. Seremetis brings more than a decade of experience in hospitality, beginning his career as a beverage manager with the José Andrés Group in Las Vegas. He went on to hold impressive positions in restaurants across the Bahamas and New York before serving as director of food and beverage at M Social Times Square.
Ziya Turgut
Turgut has been appointed as food and beverage director of Beast & Butterflies at M Social Hotel Times Square New York in New York City. Over the past decade, he has held leadership roles at Hilton, Hyatt, The Benjamin Hotel, Delano South Beach, The Williamsburg Hotel, Gansevoort Meatpacking and Hotel Nyack, building a reputation for creativity, operational excellence and revenue growth.
Miscellaneous
Aaron Hoefen
Hoefen has been appointed as dual hotel manager of the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street and Tampa Marriott Water Street in Tampa, Florida. Most recently, Hoefen led the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel as general manager, where he and his team achieved record-setting performance in 2024, including a 10-year high in revenue, guest satisfaction and associate engagement.
