A brokerage team from NAI Bergman has left the firm to launch a new commercial real estate brokerage outfit in Cincinnati.
Michael Bergman, Gueorgui "Georgie" Chikov and Kristina Skurow formed Astonish Commercial Real Estate Services, a full-service brokerage specializing in acquisitions, sales and leasing.
One of the company's focuses will be on auctions, which it views as a "highly effective yet underutilized tool for maximizing and expediting property sales," the company said in a release announcing its launch.
"We see auctions as a strategic solution for select assets and situations," Chikov said in a statement.
The trio has earned several CoStar Power Broker awards for brokering top deals in the market. That includes representing Loring Group in the August sale of Ohio Valley Electric Services' warehouse in Blue Ash for $3.55 million, and representing ownership in a full-building lease with law firm Bartlett & Weigle on Findlay Street in Cincinnati.
Bergman spent over a decade with NAI Bergman, where he specialized in investment sales, leasing and auction advisory services. Chikov specializes in investment and auction sales nationwide, as well as office and flex leasing throughout the tri-state region.
Skurow broke into the real estate industry in New York City before moving to Cincinnati, where she focuses on retail, industrial and office negotiations.
The company's headquarters is located at 9918 Carver Road in Blue Ash.
