Tariffs were supposed to be bad news for Canada's warehouses as trade tensions with the United States escalated in early 2025, with economists and commercial real estate professionals warning that manufacturing slowdowns and weaker exports could leave empty blocks of industrial space across the country. Now, 18 months later, that feared outcome has not materialized.
