Market Stat: Vacancy Rate Tightens the Most for Luxury Apartments

The vacancy rate for Portland, Oregon, apartments has significantly tightened over the past year and a half, even as a substantial number of expensive new market-rate apartments have come online. Since the start of 2018, Portland saw 8,647 new apartment units built through the end of June, representing about 4.5% of Portland’s total apartment inventory.
