Tishman Speyer, the global developer, owner, operator and investment manager, has signed social entertainment business LADbible Group as the first tenant at Angel Square, its landmark redevelopment project in Islington.
The multi-year lease on 32,000 square feet has been signed as the development nears practical completion.
LADbible will occupy the space from the first quarter of 2026, relocating its London operations from Aldgate to Angel Square.
Tishman said the property offers a single floorplate of the scale to accommodate LADbible’s London team, as well as private terraces and an efficient pre-built space that will permit swift fit-out. LADbible is headquartered in Manchester.
Martin Simonneau, who leads Tishman Speyer’s UK business, said in a statement: “We are delighted to welcome LADbible’s dynamic and growing team to Angel Square. We are confident their unique culture and innovation in the social media industry have found the perfect home in Angel Square and Islington.”
Solly Solomou, chief executive and founder of LADbible Group said: ““Angel Square felt like the right new home for us – it has everything we need to take LADbible in London to the next level. Having the whole team together on one big floor, with amazing facilities, studio space and outdoor terraces, means we’ve got the perfect set-up to collaborate, create and keep growing."
Angel Square will deliver 188,000 square feet of offices directly above the Angel underground station close to King's Cross St Pancras.
Tishman Speyer bought the site in July 2021 and is scheduled to be delivered in November 2025.
Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE acted on behalf of Tishman Speyer, while LADbible was represented by Savills.
LADbible Group is working with Sheila Bird Studios on the design and build of the new space.
