Before Amazon picked New York City as one of the homes for its new staffing hubs, concerns over housing in the densely packed biggest U.S. city seemed one of the major hurdles to wooing the online retailer. Now it turns out the Big Apple's housing situation may have actually helped - and that Amazon may in turn help part of New York avoid an apartment glut.
