Few employment sectors add jobs across Sacramento in September

Office-using employers shed more positions

After a two-month delay, the September jobs report for Sacramento was released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The Sacramento region’s unemployment rate fell 20 basis points month over month to 5.2% in September, which was above the year-ago estimate of 4.6% and below California’s statewide rate of 5.6%.
