CBRE’s property management division has a new leader in South Florida with Christine Jarro hired to serve as director of the business that oversees 13 million square feet of office, retail and industrial properties throughout the region.
In her new role, Jarro will be responsible for all aspects of the real estate company’s South Florida property management business and lead CBRE's existing team of property management professionals in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach County.
Jarro was a member of the team managing 830 Brickell, a newly built 55-story, 640,000-square-foot office tower developed by OKO Group and Cain International. The tower is nearly fully leased and is 95% physically occupied, according to a report from Fitch Ratings. Tenants include Microsoft, private equity group Thoma Bravo, law firm Sidley Austin and hedge fund Citadel.
“Her experience and leadership skills will be a tremendous asset to our clients and our growing Property Management platform,” said Gian Rodriguez, South Florida market leader for CBRE, in a press release.
Beyond managing a trophy office tower in the heart of Miami's financial district, Jarro has 20 years of real estate experience. She previously was an associate director at Cushman & Wakefield, according to her LinkedIn profile. She also served as a general manager at Stiles, overseeing a portfolio of over 2 million square feet in Miami-Dade County.
