GE Appliances, which is owned by the Chinese appliances giant Haier Group Corp., completed a planned $125 million investment at its refrigeration plant in Decatur, Alabama. The deal created hundreds of jobs to better equip GE Appliances to produce climate-friendly refrigerants.
