Related Argent, one of the largest privately-owned property and urban regeneration businesses in the UK, has appointed Parm Nijjar as an executive director and head of strategic transactions and partnerships, effective from early December.
In addition, executive director Oli Rifkind has also been promoted to chief development officer.
The group said Nijjar will oversee the transaction and investment partnership strategy within the organisation, with a focus on delivering business growth, creating and maintaining value for Related Argent’s projects and securing debt and capital funding.
Nijjar is joining Related Argent following 10 years at Kennedy Wilson, where he was managing director in the Real Estate Investments team for the last four years.
He will sit on the Related Argent board alongside Rifkind and chief executive director, Tom Goodall; chairman, John Forrester; chief operating officer, Morwenna Hall; executive director, Andre Gibbs; and chief operating officer – Related Companies, Kenneth Wong.
Goodall said in a statement: “Parm is joining us at a very exciting time for the business, having recently announced our strategic partnership with Derwent London at Old Street Quarter and having broken ground on Phase Two at Brent Cross Town. Phase Two will see the delivery of circa £600 million of development, with six new buildings starting on site in 2026 alone."
Wong added: “These appointments solidify our commitment to Related Argent’s ongoing growth and expansion. In his eight years with the company, Oli has distinguished himself with his entrepreneurial vision, deal-making skills, and command of the entire development process."
Related Argent is a developer, owner and operator with a £13 billion, 21 million-square-foot portfolio. Related Argent has a growing portfolio of over 3,000 rental homes across King’s Cross, Brent Cross Town and Tottenham Hale and said it is looking to expand its rental portfolio.
