Korea's NPS exchanges on £1.16bn Goldman Sachs HQ

The National Pension Service of Korea (NPS) has unconditionally exchanged contracts to buy the new London headquarters of US investment bank Goldman Sachs for £1.16bn.

The deal, which was revealed by CoStar News in July, means NPS, which has teamed up with LaSalle Investment Management, will buy the 840,000 sq ft building at 40 Shoe Lane, EC4, from Goldman Sachs for a net initial yield of around 4.1% ahead of a heavyweight list of underbidders.
